Dyson 25
James Dyson decided in 1978 that vacuums needed to change and set out to try and do just that, by 1983 he had developed the very first prototype of the cyclonic vacuum.
Many manufacturers rejected the idea so in 1993 James Dyson opened his own research centre in Wilshire England and continued to develop the machine further, in less than 2 yrs Dyson was the UK’s best selling vacuum and at least 60% buyers were recommended to do so by other people.
The company has strived to improve its products over the years and has developed many different models some of the models that never made it to production were the DC09 and DC10 the main reason for this was because the names were associated with the aerospace industry and not wishing to tempt fate they also avoided the DC13 one of the latest is the Dyson 25 this has patented ball technology the front and is lighter than its original predecessors.
Over the years what started from very small beginnings with three engineers has now grown to 350 scientists in a new research center. During the development years James had no income and this very nearly bankrupted him, in 1999 the very large company Hoover UK tried to imitate a Dyson after 18 months in a court battle Dyson finally won a victory for patent infringement.
One of the main reasons why people continue to replace their Dyson with the latest model of Dyson 25 is because of the companies customer support which within the industry is second to none the models come with a 5 year parts and labour guarantee, even after the five years has run out [everything us it will last beyond the time] it is possible to obtain service or repair on your Dyson 25 for a one off fee.
James Dyson finally received a knighthood in the New Year's honors list for 2007 for services to business, even though the company has made some mistakes like the washing machine it developed and then stopped production in 2005 because it was too expensive to produce.
The development of new products continues and a new product has been promised for the coming year Dyson as a company will continue to make its very popular bagless vacuum cleaners.
In order for Dyson 25 to maintain its high standards of filtration for asthma and allergy sufferers it has five main components that achieve this hygienic bin emptying, HEPA filter, constant powerful suction which gives high dust removal plus the ability to capture particles down to 0.5 microns.
Some of the concerns for allergy sufferers are listed here.
• Pet allergens dander isn't just on fur-the tiny particles can also be airborne
• Dust mite's up to 1000 dust mites can live in just one square meter of carpet
• Mould over 100,000 different mould species have been identified
• Pollen 90% of hay fever sufferers are allergic to grass pollen
All of these are tackled by the Dyson 25 vacuum this is why they have received the British allergy foundation seal of approval. Also they have been certified by the asthma and allergy foundation of America as well as many other asthma and Allergy organizations.
